As an added bonus PlaySafe™ reduces the amount of bacteria, odor on the ball by 99.9% as well as binding the wool fibres together to produce a longer lasting tennis ball. This special binding of the fibres reduces the amount of moisture that is absorbed by the ball in damp and wet conditions resulting in beading and roll off of moisture instead of absorption. This is important when playing on damp clay and artificial grass courts or play in damp environments. The binding of the wool fibres also results in a longer wearing tennis ball.
